For the November 30-day manifestation challenge, I’m calling it the Helene Hadsell month.
I was on YouTube and the short video below as a recommended challenge caught my attention. I listened to it and noticed that I was beaming with joy energy from the inside out. I thought, this is great. I found myself listening every day for a week. Then I realized that I was shifting my mood and my thinking after watching it. I showed it to three people shortly after thinking about making this our next challenge. Their faces and responses screamed that I was on the right path.
The reason I like this month’s challenge is because they teach the nuts and bolts of all three of the Laws of Manifestation: Law of Creation, Law of Attraction and Law of Allow. Not only do the videos teach the laws in a very simplified formula, but Helene gives a lot of real life examples of how it worked. Her face, voice and being just beams the energy of joy, too.
Here in the USA, this month has a holiday where people tend to get busy. So I believe it’s the perfect month for this challenge. It’s fast, it’s simple and it’s informative.
The desired results are that by the end of the month, you’ll be filled with joy energy in time for the USA holiday, you’ll have the repetition of Helen’s steps that you can apply them with your own intentions and you will see proof (evidence) of the Laws working in your life.

Elizabeth, the Joyful Manifestor was invited to speak to a Le-Vel Team Call to teach them about Manifesting Business Success. She gave them very specific strategies on how to use the three laws (Law of Creation, Law of Attraction & Law of Allow) to build their down line teams. Additionally, she helped them to discover how to overcome obstacles that keep them from meeting their goals.
Elizabeth, also, uses the Le-Vel Thrive products to help her with energy and weight loss. She is not selling the products but was given an affiliate link for the products. You can see them here: http://www.evarian.le-vel.com.
Okay, so hang on one second because I’ve got to get my phone whipped up here. Guys, I have a friend and she is a new thriver, and she’s actually, I’ve got to tell you a little bit of a background on it, is that her dad attends church with me, or at my church. He started coming a couple years ago and he would sit with me during services. I just love him to death, and then he kept talking about his daughter, kept talking about his daughter, and I don’t know how we came to be friends on Facebook. So, for the last year we’ve been friends on Facebook, and we finally sat down and met a couple of weeks ago.
I just love her, she’s so full of wisdom and she’s humble and she has a lot of great things that I think she’s going to help me with, and I hope that I can help her with things, too. So, it’s going to be a mutual, wonderful friendship that I’m so looking forward to having. So, I’m going to actually shut my pie hole, and I’m going to bring on Elizabeth and she is going to share with us some really, really great things about manifesting success in our business. Hang on, let me make sure I can get that up. Hey, okay, so Elizabeth are you there?
I am here. It finally let me in, yay.
Yay, all right, take it away.
All righty, well last night Tina was a blessing to me, because it was the first time that I had shared in a group setting about the laws of manifestation. Prior to that it was just me and a camera, which is way easier, because you don’t get people staring at you with their eyeballs. Her being there was a great blessing, and I even showed off my thrive stickers on my legs to show that I’m doing the program, and I’m very grateful for our introduction, because she’s definitely helped me and I’m loving the product.
But, what she asked me after hearing me speak last night, is saying how does this laws of manifestation, how can it help her and you all, help her team. I said, “Well, that’s easy.” First of all, a lot of people they may have heard the term manifestation, but they don’t realize there’s three laws of it. They’ve heard of maybe one of the laws, which is law of attraction, or they’ve heard of The Secret, which is a movie that mostly focuses on the law of attraction.
The three laws are law of creation, law of attraction, which is of course The Secret, law of allowing, which is the most difficult law for many people. But, you can think of it as the let go, let God. Believe it as is. Acknowledge that it exists, it’s coming to your presence, but you don’t need to focus on how to make it happen. You let go during the law of allowing.
The second thing I want you to know besides those three items is a little bit about myself. I have owned and operated a website design development and internet marketing firm since 2001. Marketing has always been my passion, however, having said that, I do marketing for my clients like crazy. I have an entire team. We’ve got processes setup in place, but like the shoe maker, I don’t do it all for myself. I’m like the kids of the shoe maker, I get plenty of calls and prospects coming in because of the very principles that I’m going to be showing and sharing with you tonight.
The law of attraction with manifesting, I have been deliberately manifesting since I was about eight years-old, and I’m 46 now. It’s never ending, never stop learning, but it’s always bringing experiences, people, sales, clients, and material items to myself.
So, when Tina asked me to speak with you guys, I thought well, what would be the good action items to take away and just give you some meat, and not just some fluffy pieces of this is what the laws are. I know that the sales part is what you focus on, because that’s your bottom line, but for me my favorite two words is passive income. The way I get passive income is by having members of my company that I call a team but most people would call employees, doing the work for me. For you, it’s building the team. That’s your passive income, and that to me would be very important for you guys to focus on.
I thought, since we only have a short few minutes, that I would focus the three laws and actual steps that you guys can use to create and build your own teams. It’s not stuck to just these few items, but it’s enough to get your feet wet, get in there, and if you only did these steps that I’m giving you tonight, it will work. It is fantastic.
The first law I told you was law of creation. This is a law a lot of people kind of fluff over because, again, they focus on the movie The Secret that doesn’t really go into the meat of it. What the law of creation is, it begins when you make a decision. You all made a decision to be on a team, now you have to make a decision that you absolutely want to build this team. It’s a desire. Now that you’ve made that decision, you need to be very specific. How many team members do you want. By what date do you want to see these team members show up? You can create and recreate the law of creation, these intentions, over and over again as you stretch your comfort zone.
Two things to keep in mind is number one, it’s not a wish. I wish I was a 123 pounds by tomorrow. I am down from 186 and today I’m at 168, but to get to 123 by tomorrow, my own belief system doesn’t align to it. So, how many people on your team by a certain date can you believe that you can obtain, without knowing how, how many. In addition to that, how many people on your team do you want to be working with right now?
A lot of people will say, “Oh, well, I want 100 people on my team in three months.” That’s actually possible more than some people realize, but are you comfortable, do you have the skill set and the ability? So, if not 100 people, start with 10, 5, 20, however many your comfort zone is. There’s no wrong answer. Then, when you get the 5, the 10, the 20, then you go for the 100, the 1000, etc. I’ve actually worked with people in network marketing years ago that had 10000 down line in Lia Sophia, so it is possible in network marketing.
The second thing with law of creation is be specific about what type of people. In sale we say go for the numbers. In law of attraction, it’s who do you want to attract? In my business, I write out very specifically I want clients who are easy, relaxed, and fun to work with. It’s my time, I want to enjoy the people I’m working with, right. I want also people who value my time with fast payments and big budgets.
For you, your team building focus may be, I am adding people to my team who are excited and hungry for the sales. They’re excited about the products, not just sharing it with friends and family, but they are so comfortable going up and talking to complete strangers. In fact, they attract complete strangers coming up to them all the time. The part that you should really get excited about for the type of people that you attract to your team, they show up and produce sales, building their own teams beyond your wildest dreams. How amazing would that be, to build your team with people who are excited to build their own team, and your bottom line is increasing. You’re enjoying the people that you’re working with.
So, that is the first law, the law of creation. Making the defined moment and being determined that you’re going to believe it, you’re going to write out exactly what type of people you want, and the amount of people by a specific date.
The second one is the law of attraction, and this again is what The Secret was all about. Everybody wanted the cheques in the mail and the princess parking, but it’s a fun part. It’s what I call the energizing your magnet to attract part. Two things that you can do to do the law of attraction after you’ve created your specific definition, is number one create a visualization and do it daily. Most people say, “I don’t get what that means, visualization.” Or, “I just can’t think of something.”
What you want to do is think about your favorite television show, or your favorite movie. It’s a scripted out, you know, it has a, it can come in the middle of it and you already know you haven’t missed out on anything if you’ve seen it many times. That’s what you want to do. It’s not the how. You’re not going to visualize how you’re meeting these people. You’re not going to visualize the meeting of them. You’re going to jump right into that middle of your favorite movie of you building your team. That’s going to be having the fun part of you enjoying watching them start selling their own products. You, educating your team of 5, 10, 20, 100, 10000 team members. You having the excitement of building them up and getting them … having the excitement of building them up and getting them the information, holding their own team calls. It’s you sharing the emotions and the thrill of hearing them get their first sale or having their first team member underneath them asking you, “What do I do next?” And as you play that scene out daily, just live it, then you’re going to get excited no matter what. You’re going to leave the house excited and on fire and you have that visualization that’s connected to the creation.
The other thing you can do, and this is part of what I do in my new business, Live Joy Today, is I create affirmation products. And I do that because affirmations are very important. Having them in your vision or in your home, things that you do activity-wise … I have clothing with affirmations on, journals, etc. They help your mindset to stay focused on what you’re believing for. So I created a coloring book called My Business is a Success. So some people have difficulty holding visions, so they can be coloring, which keeps their mind distracted from phones, from the technology. You can shut yourself away. It’s meditative, and you’ve got an affirmation, like new customers show up daily, or people refer my business regularly. It helps keep you positive.
Make the note, if you start doing affirmations, if there are any fears that pop up because those are limiting beliefs or past experiences trying to dictate your present, something I was talking to Tina about earlier today. No matter what your experience says in the past, close the chapter to it. It doesn’t exist anymore. If it does, it affects your present. If you believe that people … you’re fearful to talk to people, you’re going to always be fearful. If you believe people are not going to show up to be part of your team, then they’re not going to show up. If you close that chapter and you get excited about “Who’s showing up, who am I going to meet? Oh I’m so excited for …” insert whatever … then the past doesn’t dictate the present and you’ve just closed the door to an obstacle that’s in your way. Or like I spoke last night, an invisible, hidden driver. So having the coloring books help you to keep your mind from being distracted, and they keep those positive messages that are focused on exactly what your desires are, which is building your business.
I know I want to keep this short and I’m keeping mindful of the time. The last thing is the law of allowing. People have a difficult time with this because what do we as humans want to do? We want to control everything, especially women. I mean, come on. We want to control the task. This is how it is. How many times do we tell guys, “Well I want this, but can you do it this, this, this, and this way? Oh and don’t forget to go over here and get this.” Like, I was gonna forget. We want to go, oh wait, wait, let me take that back and do it again. Let it go.
Once you’ve done your visualization, you’ve set it in stone, you’ve made it determined, you’re focused, you’re excited on it, let it go as if it is already done. And many times in teachers with law of attraction will say, “Act as if …” And then they’ll tell you go buy the purses and expensive stuff, even if your bank account currently doesn’t substantiate it. That’s not what “act as if” means. “Act as if” means you hold the emotions as though you already have it. Stay in that excitement of waiting for your phone to ring for your new team members that you are bringing to you are calling you to tell you about the new product sales they just did, the new team members. Hold that through in putting together your calls each month. Hold together that contentment and the excitement when you open up or you see the deposits in your bank account because it’s not just your sales anymore. You have the passive income. It’s not so passive in that you’re encouraging other people, but they’re building and you’re getting from their building. That’s how it’s supposed to work.
Now, if doubt pops into your head during this time when you’re already like, “I got it. It’s done,” then you just say to it, “Thank you, but that is already done.’ And I always think about, when doubt pops into my head, I think about Jesus on the cross, who said, “It is finished.” But, if the people there who heard him looked around, it didn’t appear as though it was finished, but I know he was very precise in his words, “It is finished.” So when doubt pops into my head, no matter what my reality says. I just simply state, “It is finished. Thank you very much, but it is done and goodbye,” because your thoughts will come in.
And the last thing is take inspired action. We want to start sitting and making our plans especially if you’re a task master like me who tends to get workaholic personality. We want to create our plans. We want to create all of our tasks. I’m going to go to this many places and call this many people. And it’s usually more calls than we can make in a day. It’s more places than our car will drive in a day. We’ve created our really long list of everything we’re going to do. I’m going to tell you and go against the grain and say don’t do any of it. Do inspired action.
I spoke last night because I had a dream saying ask this person to speak at their event for … you know. And it said it’ll be in July. So I said well, okay. I’ve never spoke for this company before. I never spoke in public on manifesting, but I was inspired to speak to her and I said, “Hey, would it be okay?” And she goes “Oh sure, I have time in June.” Okay, dream must be lying, right? No. She comes back and says, “Oh, I can’t do June. I want to put another speaker in. Can you speak in July?” Why yes, I can. Dream is never a liar. And I didn’t go and seek her out. I hadn’t even though to ask her. If I hadn’t had the dream and then took the action and the faith and leaped on the faith of the dream being accurate, I wouldn’t have spoken last night and I wouldn’t be speaking to you today. I couldn’t have made any of this happen because Tina and I just recently met face-to-face within the past week or so.
So inspired action, it isn’t necessarily a dream. It could be. It’s an urge and everybody gets it differently. You either get a feeling that you need to go somewhere. You get an excitement of, “Oh you should post this on social media.” [inaudible 00:18:23] where you need to make a call. Oh, you should reach out and talk to someone. Just do it without hesitation. Don’t force it. It will absolutely come, as long as you believe.
And hopefully all of this would inspire you guys, which is my hope for this call to truly say, “You know what?” Yes, it’s summer time. There’s a lot of people on vacation. But they’re eating themselves and they’re going to come back and want that energy back. They’re going to come back and want to lose a few pounds. I’m excited that they’re on vacation. I’m excited that there are people on vacation here in your area, wherever you’re at, and I’m gonna bump into them and they’re going to want to be part of my team. There’s no downside to any time of the year. I made money in the recession because I used law of manifestation. And I believe that each and every one of you can build the team to a level you desire. So hopefully that’s been helpful for you guys.
Oh my gosh, I have a few pages of notes. I’ve got two pages of notes. Wow.
Yeah, so I just want to bring up real quick too, you talked about I know … Let me look through my notes because I had a question and it just escaped my brain. You know, overcoming that doubt. Now, could you just share with us … that’s not something … I mean, we can be intentional about it but we have gotten this way. I know I’m 49, you know what I mean? I’ve gotten this way over the course of time. When those doubts pop in, being intentional about blocking them and turning it around, that’s going to take time. We need to not beat ourselves up if it doesn’t happen in that hour that we’re like having those doubts.
No, no, no. I always said that my life is like a bumper cars. You know, I get too far from the left and God bumps me over. I go too far to the right and he bumps me over. But anytime something pops up, if you have a doubt or a fear, I say write it down. Don’t give it too much attention because you don’t want to keep bringing it about, but write it down and go general with it. So do you have any ideas of any doubts that you can think of off the top of your head?
Well, I guess-
Even if it’s made up.
And again, it comes back to, I’ve discussed with you before, is past experiences. So that’s something that pops into your head and then having that negative mindset of the fact that things that have happened in the past and that they continue to happen. And I’m going to use an example of me going for my next rank with my company recently is that every month I say, and every month we do … every month we set goals. We write them down, we share them with each other and say, “Okay, hold us accountable,” and halfway through the month, something happens. Then, three fourths of the way through the month, something happens and you give up and say, “Okay, let me try again.” And I have been doing that for over two years.
So there’s a couple things actually.
No, no, no, no, no, so what I’m saying is, it did happen finally. That’s what I’m saying. I get to the end of the month … okay. So what I’m just saying, every month I used to do that and it’s like “oh.” And you have that creep into your mind of “Okay, well, you say it every single month and you’re all gung-ho and you believe it-”
Okay, well, you say every single month and you’re all gung ho and you believe it and you know that it’s going to happen and then every month and you go by. I’m talking over two years and I just had it happen this Saturday. It was literally getting up on a Saturday morning, the last day of the month, and looking at my numbers and making the decision that I was not not going to make it happen. It was one of those, “It’s going down and I’m going to make it-
Make it permanent.
… do what I gotta do,” right. There was no other option. There was no Plan B. That was kind of cool. We have that a lot now. A lot of us struggle with that. Some people, flat out, they struggle with it so long that they finally just quit altogether.
I hate for that. So how do you address that?
Okay, a couple of things. Number one, if they’re consistently not coming, I would ask you, “Are you white hot? Not red hot, not fire that you see at the camp fire, but white hot, on fire, determined that it’s gonna happen?” Which is what you had just said you did on the Saturday when you crossed over. For the two years, were you on fire, determined you’re not gonna be moved, it’s gonna happen come hell or high water, as my grandmother used to say? That’s one thing.
The second thing is, if you are determined, but then something comes in where things don’t appear that they’re moving forward and you give up, and that consistently happens, then shows a pattern in you that there’s a hidden driver there, which is what we were talking about last night.
For me, it was something that was spoken to me in my childhood. I had a fear of success. My fear of success, we finally found out and were able to pinpoint it, was from age three to 13, I was consistently told by my grandmother that I would never amount to anything. Because of that, I could never make any goal I set for myself. No matter how badly I wanted it, I would always make the goal so big that I would give up. Like me wanting to be 123 pounds in a day from 168 … that kind of a goal. I set myself up for failure subconsciously because of, what I call, the hidden driver.
So, if you see something consistently coming up, you gotta really look as to what’s the possibility? The book that helped me to determine that I had a fear of success was T. Harv Eker’s The [Secret of the] Millionaire Mind, which I recommend for any entrepreneur, which is what you all are, you’re business owners, to get this book, and it will take you through theories of his given analogy, and then ask you questions. The ones that you relate to are the ones that are gonna really pinpoint why you consistently come into this.
I found that I had that hidden driver because instead of saying, “I’m white hot, on fire for a goal, a specific number, a specific client, or anything like that,” I said, “I’m done with it. Enough is enough with this cycle because I keep going around the same mountain. I want to stop and move forward.” I started journaling on it. I took it to the, I always say, “I’m boldly before the throne of God;” I’ll drop every cuss word in the world, God can handle it, and said, “I want this gone. It’s gonna move. I shift it out.”
And, that’s when things started happening. I got invited to a vision board party. She called a manifesting board party last year that connected me to a woman that then worked with me to help connect to the stigma of the beginning of where my fear of success came in. Then, from there, I had to take hold of, “How do I shift it out?”
In AA, and my ex-husband is AA and NA, and I went through the programs with him, the first step is acknowledging that this problem is here, but that’s not what helps anybody to stay sober, or to clear anything in their life. So the next thing I had to do is start journaling. Get all my emotions, empty myself out in my journal time. Write it down so that I could process it. Then to shift it out, I had to forgive my grandmother with an earnestness and love. And when people say, “I forgive you, but I will never forget,” that is not a Godly forgiveness. He says, “He has forgiven my sins, and he remembers them no more.” So, to me, that’s forgiveness, and it’s very difficult for people. But I have forgiven people who I am now friends with and able to have in my life, and others I have forgiven and said, “For me to be healthy I need to stay away from the person because they have issues, and that’s okay because that’s who they are.” Not an easy thing to do.
In my case my grandmother had passed away in 2007, and I just got it in January this year. But I forgave her with deep love, and I only speak on it in a matter of fact way, not in a “I’m totally not gonna forget this” way. Very different heart.
The last thing I did, which is what I shared with everyone last night, was I had to re-define from the negative definition to creating my own positive definition. She told me, “You’re never gonna amount to anything,” which is an odd phrase, if you think about it. But then I said, “What does it mean to amount to something?” I had to create my own definition by brainstorming, and, I gotta tell you, there was no dollar sign on there, there was no business on there. It was all about my character and what I love, and ultimately got back to what God says about me, which is, “I am perfect just as I am.”
So, I will stand before anybody, God, universe, infinite source of possibilities, and I know I can feel well done, like a good and faithful servant today in spite of those words. Once I did that, my business starting picking right back up again. I had beat my goals. I didn’t meet them, I’ve exceeded them. And I hold to on to Ephesians 3:20 and 3:21 that says, “Above and beyond anything I could ask or imagine.” Because of that, it’s always this or better, this or more in an easy, relaxed, fun way. Does that help?
I’m gonna stop now. You know what, Elizabeth, thank you, seriously. I know I took away … And I recorded this, so I’m going to send everyone the recording or I’m gonna post it on our team page, and I will also … I’ve got a million more questions, and I’m just grateful that I get to have one-on-ones with you anytime, or, lately, just have this friendship. I think I’m gonna learn a lot and I can share that with the other [inaudible 00:29:51], and I know that they all get it.
So, I’m gonna wrap this up, and I thank everyone for your time tonight. I hope everyone took something so so profound away like I know I have, and I continue to do. And, I hope everyone has a very safe and wonderful wonderful Fourth of July. Boom boom. Don’t blow your fingers off with any firecrackers, and have a great night. And this call is officially over.
Change. Often, we hunger for it. We want a new job, house, car. Or, perhaps we long for improved relationships or increased income. Maybe we are anxious to remove habits that no longer serve us. When we are trying to change, attract or alter anything within our lives, we first start with the decision about what generally we want to change. After that, we drill down to the details, and get specific – very specific – about what it is exactly we desire.
At this point, many people will write the list and then never think it will happen. Or, like me, they are workaholics who dive in with everything they must do. Often these workaholics either give up or get sick from overworking themselves. Neither of these approaches will work to create your desired outcomes.
After defining what exactly is wanted, the correct next step is to create a vision (or a movie) of the outcome as if you are living it right now in your mind. While creating this vision, feel it, see it and be in the moment as it is happening. To keep this vision and associated feelings in front of you day after day, align yourself with prompts. These can be words, visual graphics, notifications on your phone, or any other reminder you can think of that will change your environment and remind you to stay in that emotional joyous state you felt in the vision you created of the outcome you want. The goal is to consistently feel as if what you want has already happened.
Words of Affirmations are typically useful for aligning your mind with the belief of your desires. When I am using affirmations, I put them as phone or calendar reminders, computer desktop display images, or change my Facebook profile. Because I like to design and create, I will create visual objects to have everywhere to help me connect regularly. I create posters and put them up on my ceiling above my bed and on my vision wall. I create affirmation books to have by my computer, in my purse, by my journal, by my bed. I create pens and notebooks to keep my mind focused while writing or during journal time. I create mugs, pillows and home décor for the very purpose of shifting my mind. In my prayer chair right now has a pillow that says, “Best Day Ever”. In my office, my guest chair has a pillow on it that faces me that says, “Love You More” as a note to myself to love myself more.
I know that a shifted mind focuses on the objects, people and experiences that it desires to create. A focused mind – manifests them into reality.
I have started to take my tools to manifest for myself and make them available for everyone. That’s why I don’t say that I sell pens, books, pillows and other objects, but instead I say, “I create manifesting tools.”
Having had a fear of success and a need for other people’s approval, I’m now set to remove these blocks of negative energy. I started by discovering the root cause of my obstacles and created a new direction. But, sitting on this exciting news and keeping it to myself, does little to move any of the old stuff away. Now it’s time to take action.
I’ve decided to start with the Law of Creation. Words, in general, have ambiguous emotions attached to them. They only receive the meanings that we give them. The beauty of that is that I can totally design the words that define my life. In another way, I am the designer of my life. I always have been. I am the master over the emotions and definitions attached to the words that come into my life. If I don’t like them, I get to redefine them. That’s the first thing I am doing.
I realized this year that I was never the one to define what “Amount to Something” actually meant to me. This phrase was delivered negatively, it was put upon me and it was attached to me from an external source. Now is my time to create my own energy around the words.
I wrote these words down on the top of a blank piece of paper. Then, I stopped and started to ponder the question. It is so easy to toss a dollar amount down and call it a day. But when I thought amount that number and what it would be – I realized that the number held zero meaning to me. Any number put down would be attainable, but I felt as though this definition was more focused on what other people would consider a successful goal. So, I decided to set the number aside and focus on what brought me joy energy in connection to the words ‘amount to something’.
This is what I wrote in the raw, starting with what I believe to journeying to the defining moment:
Upon completion of my list, I continued to write…
“I am excited to show that to ‘amount to something’ has zero to do with any set dollar amount. I have been chasing arbitrary figures and carrots for far too long. I’m excited to ‘be something’ that makes me proud of who I am – to be in ‘joy’.
Lord God, let’s you and I design a life that is me. To stop looking at others as though they’re paving the path of my life in concrete of ‘blah’.
My house is mismatched and cluttered. It’s ‘whatever has fit” design and furniture. My life is it in living visual code. Sitting and watching mindless television cannot be my life. Learning, exploring, creating and enjoying the moment is what my life is about. Teaching, creating content and discovering new joys – and in love and romance and I believe that’s the life for me.
As we grow, then BMW vehicles and a condo in Azure are great – but resetting my mindset to be a person of abundance who will naturally move into Azure, driving my new red BMW – let’s make me that person.
It’s being the person who shows up in my life, being present, sitting in abundance and enjoys creating, learning, reading, being and discovering the awesome joy energies of this world.
This is mine. What is yours?
In January of this year, I went through the process of identifying a root obstacle between me and the success I desire. It was a wonderful experience. I learned that the obstacle was attached to constant words spoken throughout my life from age three to thirteen (read article here). I am now set to deactivate this magnet that was placed in my life and create a mind shift reset.
There are a million and one ways to complete this. I’m certain that there are several folks who’d come out of the woodwork to give some chant, card readings or anything else to move this. But I am going to work with the Laws of Manifestation that I know. To me, they are easy, relaxing and defining.
Using the Law of Creation, I’m defining what the phrase “Amount to Something” means to me now. I am creating a list of defining statements that resonate with my spirit. I’ll use these to inspire and define my life. I’m calling it my ‘Designer-Life Creation’. I feel like I am an interior designer and my life is the house awaiting the redesign. The goal: to de-clutter and move things out that don’t align with my fresh vision.
Using the Law of Attraction, I will use a new daily routine to reinforce my new vision. I will use a number of different tools to remind me of the new reality I desire. In this way, I will consistently show up. I will be constantly reminded of how awesome my new “higher level” reality is, and that it is actually who I really am.
With the Law of Allowing, I will show up in my new life that I designed, without being anxious about it. I will use my new routines, new tools, and a renewed energy of joy. I will step into my commitment to be present daily, to release fear-based thoughts, and to focus on meditative joy. And then, I will release all worry associated with this change. I know that as I act in faith, I will receive.
I will take the steps necessary to make this shift because I have decided that I am not only worth it, but I deserve it. The little three-year-old to thirteen-year-old in me deserves me to be consistent, loving, and to follow-through on decisions. I can leave that old mind-set and magnet where it originated, in the past.
I’m inviting you to come along with me on my journey. Know that you have the power to embark on your own life-defining journey. You deserve to design your own life, to achieve your dreams and to have your own success. You are worth it to show up. Are you ready?
Last year I set my foot down and said, ‘Enough!’
I needed to figure out what was standing in my way of true success. What was the deeply rooted, invisible obstacle that kept me from reaching what felt like success to me? I remained open to receiving whatever questions and path that would lead me to the answers I desired. I met a woman, Ilene Gottlieb who is known as a ‘Heart Healer’. I didn’t know what that meant or even what an Akashic Record reading was. I didn’t care. I felt a pull that I needed to be connected to her. I purchased a three-session package and went in with zero clue what to expect, what to bring to the table, or even what results would come from these sessions.
Each session built on the next like an investigation. Then the final session was EXACTLY what I was seeking… the answer. During time on the table, I was asked about the first time “fear of success” and “need for approval” showed up in my life. I heard myself say, “age three”. My mind popped in thinking, what on earth could have happened at that early of an age to stick with me? When asked about it specifically, a phrase came into my mind. At that moment, I knew… this was it! I hadn’t heard this phrase since I was a child. I had pushed it down and never thought of it since. For ten years of my life, I heard this phrase over and over, and over again. I knew exactly where it came from and who engrained it in my psyche.
The phrase: “You will never amount to anything.” It was accompanied by: “you are a spoiled brat” or “You are rotten.” From age three to thirteen, I heard those words. Even as an adult, I was reminded how I was such a stubborn, difficult child. My parents were divorced when I was nearly two-years-old, and my grandmother moved into our house to help my mother with my brother and I. The problem is that, like most people walking around on this planet, she had her own limiting beliefs, issues and childhood scares. My life’s situation at age three created the perfect scenario to bump into her issues. I was a reminder that boys were preferred over girls. I was an independent child who wanted to sleep in and opted to, therefore reflecting lack of control to her. My mother’s desire to raise her children in her own way bumped into Grandma’s ways of how a child should be raised.
There’s no excusing away anything, though. There’s the reality that I was the child who was lost and confused with no way of formulating expression, emotions or problem-solving skills for the world’s problems going on around me. I was a child who was looking to the adults to protect, love, and guide me. Period. Instead, I bumped into their issues and then shoved down and buried the ramifications of their words. And as often happens with these types of words, they became a guiding magnet in my life that was completely misaligned with my own desires, my intentions and my goals.
I now knew what the source of the obstacle to achieving success is. My initial reaction is, “let’s get busy and take care of shifting this!” Let’s heal me and move beyond this, so I can get my life on a guided path that serves me.
I immediately opened my journal when I got home from my session. Journal writing is the most healing tool in my tool chest of clearing, gaining clarity and getting guidance (if you know me, you know I call it my breakfast). During this time, I just purged everything that came up. So much poured out that the time became the most eye-opening revelation. One right after another…
January 6, 2018… “Good Evening, El Shaddai!” as, I always begin my time. I would write things like, ‘Beating myself up – holding myself to a high standard goes back to age 3 to 13… my Grandmother stating and telling me all those years that “I would never amount to anything”, that I was “no good” and that I was a “spoiled child.”
I shifted from talking to God / Universe (El Shaddai) to talking to my Grandmother directly. I wrote:
“How can you say such rotten things to a child?!?! Seriously! You’re the grown-up – leave the room or step away if you’re that angry.”
As I began to let the emotions pour and words writing themselves almost, I would find ‘ah ha’ moments of the ‘why’ behind my actions…
• “I became the one who provided extra income for you as an adult. “
• “I was the one who called on a regular basis as an adult.”
• “I stepped up, and even then, you told me I was such a ‘brat’ as a child – ‘a difficult child’.”
As I wrote, I realized that I didn’t do those things to be a ‘good granddaughter’. I did everything seeking approval to be ‘good enough’. I shifted to all the years I blamed my mother for my shortcomings, my inability to receive/give love and feel what it meant to be successful. I blamed her and realized it wasn’t her. She did the best she could and went above and beyond to make sure my brother and I knew we were loved.
I continued to write, wondering what would cause an adult to speak in such a way to child. Who in her childhood put on her the energy of ‘not good enough’? What beliefs and experiences would have caused one to focus on such a horrible phrase to feed a child?
I wrote for myself to myself:
“I was a great child! I was an amazing child! I loved to laugh. I loved merry go’ rounds. I loved giggling.”
I wrote about all the blessings my mother had given me that I had not recognized.
“Mom wanted love and approval, too. She turned her difficult childhood into trying to love her kids. She fought for me and she stood up for me. She hugged us and would find ways to show us she cared. No, she wasn’t perfect, either. She tried her darnedest, though.”
“I wonder who were you trying to get approvals from? Who were you trying to prove that you were good enough to and who screwed up when they should have just loved you?”
“I am extremely grateful to have this come up! I am glad to know finally why I have been blocked from attaining success. Why I set extremely high goals. I do desire to reach them but not to prove anything to you! To enjoy the journey and show myself that I am someone. I am worthy. I am deserving, I am/have amounted to be someone just by being me and I am perfect just as I am. I love who I am!”
I called my mother to read her my journal. She went on to say that Grandma used to brag about me to others and how proud she was of me. She figured out ‘who’ in Grandma’s life it was that put the pressure on her and we had a wonderful conversation. But that’s not the ending…
See, I love my Grandmother. I am thrilled to know the root of my issues, but now it’s time to deactivate this magnet and let my own perfect soul and the Spirit of God guide my life. Now is the time for the work to begin to journey to my own success.

Tears threatened to spill onto her cheeks. She took a deep breath. It doesn’t matter, she thought, I can do this. THEY don’t matter.
She closed her ears to the laughter and snide comments trying to bring her down. She slowly picked herself up off the stage floor and wiped her palms on the voluminous skirt that had tripped her.
“Are you okay?” The concerned drama teacher asked.
“Are you able to continue with your audition? Or do you need a few minutes?” He was getting ready to call another girl up to the stage.
She shook her head. “No, I can continue.” I can do this!
She turned to the lady playing the piano. Out of the entire theatre populated with drama students and wannabe thespians, only the adults running the program hadn’t laughed. The student body of this school sucked. She gave the signal and the lady began to play Cinderella at the Grave from Into the Woods, the musical the high school was putting on this spring.
She’d dressed the part for the audition. She wanted people to see her as Cinderella. She so desperately wanted this part, even though she’d never done anything like this before. She began to sing, softly at first, partly from raw nerves and partly because she felt the song called for reverence in the beginning. Then, she lost herself in her performance and singing.
She poured grief into the song. She knew the pain of missing a dead mother. She poured deep soul-wrenching longing into the song. She knew what it felt like to wish that life was different. That it was something more than it is. That was why she was throwing herself out of her comfort zone today.
Everyone at school knew her as the shy, clumsy, socially-awkward bookworm that was frequently the butt of mean girl jokes. She was an easy target. She dressed in second-hand clothes that didn’t necessarily flatter her. She got flustered when asked questions. She often tripped over nothing. Or other people’s feet. She blushed easily. Her face showed everything she felt. She hadn’t made any close friends in the 6 months she’d been attending this school. She really was an outsider, and, for some reason, it was entertaining to pick on her.
As the last note of the song faded away, silence wrapped around her. There was no laughing, jeering, or snide whispers. She straightened her back and lifted her head up as she met the eyes of her stunned audience. Yes! I can sing!
“Well done, Genny. Thank you. Parts will be posted outside the theatre tomorrow morning.”
She nodded and quietly left the stage. I did my best. Now, she could only hope that was good enough.
The next morning found herself jittery and anxious. She almost didn’t want to get the part. Would she be able to handle being in the spotlight like that? What if she forgot her lines? Or her natural clumsiness reared its ugly head when she was performing for a real audience?
Genny shook her head to banish self-doubt. You can do this. You’ll work hard. You’ll rehearse and practice. You’ll do fine. Providing she got the part.
She walked up to the bulletin board outside the school’s theatre, pushing her way through the excited students crowding it.
“You’re Cinderella.” Emily, a die-hard drama geek, congratulated Genny.
Genny smiled shyly as she confirmed her name was next to the lead part.
“Never would have guessed you could sing like that.” Emily continued. “You’ll be perfect.”
Genny glowed with self-satisfaction. Her life was about to be more. She’d known she could do it, and she did!

The law of attraction is very closely related to elements of nature. Seeing a wolf in real life or in a dream can have many different meanings. Here are several of the many elements of our human essence that the wolf can represent:
When you are putting the law of attraction into practice, you will encounter many obstacles that need to be addressed in order to manifest your dreams and desires. The wolf can be giving you a message of how to deal with these obstacles, whether they are coming at you from the physical world or your own thoughts and words that are seeding doubts and barriers to achieving your goals.
If when you see the wolf, you feel threatened, then check the following against where you are at in achieving your dreams and desires:
Pay attention to what makes you feel threatened and make a plan to deal with the threat and eliminate it from your life in a positive manner. This will free up your psyche to allow the law of attraction to work toward achieving your desires.
If the wolf appears to you and you do not feel threatened, then its message may be telling you that:
Paying close attention to the wolf, when and how it appeared, and your feelings during its appearance can direct you to its possible meaning and how it is affecting your manifesting ability. Of course, if you see a wolf in real life, put safety first. Then, you can analyze its appearance and what it means to your life.
When you work together with the wolf, practicing the law of attraction and manifesting your dreams and desires also come together for your success.

The butterfly carries with it several different meanings, depending on the perspective.
Native Americans see it as a symbol of vibrant joy, the ability to experience life with awe, and spreading beauty in our world. It also represents finding joy in your life and to stop being so serious – lighten up.
In some cultures, the butterfly represents an emotional or spiritual transformation, spiritual rebirth, and creativity.
In the law of attraction, which is linked closely to nature, the butterfly represents the process of change and transformation in your life, usually on an interior basis, with endless potential.
The butterfly begins as an egg that hatches into a caterpillar. It is at a stage of life before the beginning of its transformation, just crawling quietly along its journey, eating and resting. We humans have a tendency to do this, as well. We just float through life, taking it as comes without really thinking beyond tomorrow.
This is a phase of human transformation before we awaken to possibilities. Perhaps a friend gives us a book to read, we get more serious about our faith, or something else points us in a new direction of learning and growth potential. And like the caterpillar, we humans need to evolve and develop further.
For a caterpillar, this stage of development means wrapping itself into a silk cocoon to further develop in its journey. For humans, it means to further develop our knowledge, to study, do further research, and build a foundation.
Many people believe the law of attraction is nothing more than reading a few how to’s and practicing them daily for a month or two. It is so much more than that. You need to learn about it, how it works and why, get rid of the negatives in your life and from your past that are holding your back, and so much more. And you need to allow your dreams to materialize through your own believing in and clarifying your desires.
When the larva in the cocoon is fully developed, it transforms into a beautiful butterfly. This is what happens when your dreams come to fruition.
But even the transformation into a butterfly isn’t an easy one. The butterfly fights and claws at the outer shell of the cocoon to get free. Then, it has to allow its wings to dry in the sun before being able to unfold them and fly.
So too is our transformation. Whether a spiritual awakening or law of attraction fulfillment, once we have the information we need to transform, it can be an uphill battle. Why? Because like most humans, we fall back into old habits. It takes a lot of willpower and practice to overcome our old negative thinking and habits that hold us back. But once we do, like the larva in the cocoon, we transform into a beautiful butterfly and spread our wings to soar in life.
Seeing Butterflies Around You or In Your Dreams
Seeing butterflies constantly, in large groups or in your dreams is a message to you. Butterflies as a message represent:
If none of these representations make sense for your life right now, one or more may make sense soon. Look at your life to see where improvement is needed in order to move forward; where could you use the metamorphosis of a butterfly? Think emotionally, spiritually, and especially pay attention to your thoughts and the words you speak – are they positive or negative? What is holding you back from achieving your dreams and desires?
Like the metamorphosis of the butterfly, you too must go through changes for the law of attraction to manifest in your life.
